Since I started the MFA program I felt identified with this idea. Little by little I used thicker layers of paint in order to increase the sensuality (Of or pertaining to the senses or physical sensation, sensory ) of my paintings and abandon a narrative and figurative style.
I found that I could start gluing found objects to my paintings, and completely deconstruct its symbolical connotations that the objects previously had, therefore, I am able to build sensation from them.
